Not to be an a**, but if you don't understand refraction through a lens then you're arguing a moot issue. Of course it's got a dip to the outside, it's why the light ends up having a higher cutoff on the opposite side.

That, and the projectors are interchangeable, so they will have the same design and beam pattern on both sides.

THANK YOU! THIS IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO SAY, but the cutoffs are mirrors of each other...

Actually, the housing with the cutoff in it is not interchangeable. I'm sitting with one right here next to me stamped R and there's obviously differences in the housing. Granted the cutoff in both is the same, but the only interchangeable part in the projectors would be the bulb housing and lens/retainer. The cutoff housing isn't interchangeable.
