Well guys I just want to say bye and thanks.
I got an offer to do basically a straight up trade for my 94 celica gt for a 98 mustang gt so i couldn't pass it up. I love my celica but I wanted something quicker so this works for me. I will say one thing though my celica gt deffinetely handles better in stock form lol. However i love the straight line speed of the mustang. Thanks everyone for a great celica site theres a lot of info on this site and yall are some helpful people. see ya! |

Just don't go and try picking on any V8 Firebirds or Camaro's from about 93 up and you'll stay happy with the Mustang.
 If you havne't already learned, there's a HUGE aftermarket and following for those SN95's.........overall good cars. Sounds like a nice pickup.

Yeah well here's a pic of my new ride, and yes fastbird, in comparison to most other v8 domestics it is slow, but I love all the aftermarket support. edit: this is a pic of it dirty after a 4 hour drive through the snow to get it home

Yeah man its all good I agree it has lots of potential, and I coudn't pass up a trade for it, I know the previous owner and it was well taken care of. Stock its rated at a 15 sec quarter mile, and that is what I wanted in a car and I will eventually add gears and oher basics to make it even quicker. Really I am surprised that so far Ive averaged 20 mpg city so I am quite pleased. That and insurance are the biggest cons to the swap for me. I will always miss the celica though, it is a great car in its own ways.

sick...those were the ugliest year of mustang, no offence...plus its probly not as good quality...wont last you 400,000 miles

EDIT: I said some bad things about Mustangs (Even though true! Still, not in my right)...... If that's what you like.... That's all I can say....
