hey there everyone.

ok, so i got up this morning. got ready for work... went out and got in my car. rolleyes.gif car started... stayed on for about 2-3 seconds.. than cut off. i let it sit for minute, turned the key again, and the motor just keeps cranking. battery is fine... im assuming its a fuel issue. i couldnt hear my fuel pump cut on... didnt have time to do any more diagnosis... had to be at work so i got a ride from my roomate.

feedback???

thanks everyone

Might sound obvious, but is the safc(assuming that's what your using) turning on when you put the key in? There was an issue where it wasn't communicating with my ecu one time, therefore not sending the correct amount of fuel...made my car run like **** for about 20 seconds before it died. Took a little while for me to realize it wasn't getting power and was making my car run as if it was completely un tuned.

check that your getting spark.
if so, then bridge FP && B+ in your diag box.
then try it. if not leave the key "on" and listen, if your Fuel Pump works you'll hear the fuel return sending back all the fuel in the engine bay, and the whine inside the car

I was just about to tell you there are a lot of things to check. Since you found the problem already, how did that happen?
