there is no best way.
You can wire it to a seperated switch or...

***correct me if i am wrong*** take the steering column off of a celi that came from the factory with fog lights and therefore has it wired. I am not sure if those come factory wired to turn on with the Low's or if you have to pull on the knob to get them to turn on seperately.

you have to get the turn signal switch with the fog or run it direct to a switch. I ran mine direct but I do have a fuse still. There is a sticky that martin did.

i just wired them to my excisting headlight wires. you get a ticket if you have them on if your headlights arent on anyway. Ground them seperatly and take the hot wire from one of your headlights and them put a bigger fuse in for the headlights and your good to go. message me back if you have any questions.

Wow,
You guys did complicated work. I wired mine into my running lights. If you turn the column once (just driving lights, no headlights) you'll get fogs, 2 turns forward will be fogs with lows, then push the whole column forward to fogs, lows, and highs.

Just use a millimeter to be sure which wires to splice into. There's 3 total, and they change colors for left and right. I think it was the left and center wire, but double check with a millimeter to be absolutely sure.
