Hi to you guys from Slovenia.
I have Toyota Celica 1997 1,8. I want to install heated mirrors. I checked my doors and there is a white connector with two wires, but there is no power on it. anotherone beside that connecvtor is a connector for moving mirrors left right etc. Does anybody know's if there is an relay to add under the driving wheel. there is a realy for Deffoger and for fog lights and there are also two spaces for another 2 relay's. Do i have to add a seperate button for turning on the heated mirrors, if it's possible that i can install the heated mirros for my car. Thanks This post has been edited by Aysilon: Apr 10, 2009 - 11:08 AM |

The white connectors with two wires that you see in your door panels are for tweeters - small speakers that go where the black triangle is on the inside of your car where the side view mirrors connect. I believe those tweeters came standard on GTs.
I'm not sure how you would go about adding heated mirrors in. As far as I know they were not an available option for our cars, however I really only know about USDM models, and I may be wrong about European models. I'll be interested to know if you figure out how to do this though; my girlfriend's Jetta has heated mirrors and I've often wished I had them too! -------------------- |

Hi,
I was thinking to buy the heated mirrors that are the same dimension just with option for heating them. Then i would connect them to the same switch as the deffoger is or install a new one under the sterring wheel. Thsi is just an idea im still working on that. Because i found the 97 celica 1.8 with heated mirrors on used car page. |
