How to tell if the MOUNT is worn.
Drivability symptoms may include:


Clunking noises
Vibration
Loose, stiff or noisy steering
Tire alignment
Tire wear

10 is the strut mount correct? Is it really going to cost like $300 dollars just for the strut mounts?!
Guess I assumed it would be cheaper to fix my bad suspension kindasad.gif

Cause I live in Australia, If I got all 4 strut mounts from US would of been $400 and If I got them here would of been $600 so I said **** it, took it out and all my mounts were fine, only I didn't have front bump stops.

Anyway Now I'm still getting that clunk, I have new engine mounts, new struts, new springs and new bump stops, I got it checked up and apparently all I need doing is the sway bar bushings, would they only clunk on corners or what?

Sometimes its the mount bearing causing noises. However, it is not as necessary to change the rears. The front are vital as FWD cars' stress is all in the front. braking turning accelerating etc
