so i slapped these in last spring and i have always wondered why the steering wheel would get tweaked if you were to make a hard turn like into a parking spot or something. when i do this and then take it onto the highway the steering wheel is cocked to whichever direction i turned. but then it eventually corrects itself. it sounds like the springs are binding up when taking a hard turn. any solutions or ideas. thanks guys

Id start by getting the wheels off and making sure everything is nice and tight. this includes steering knuckle and control arm.

then when you go to put the wheels on and the car back on the floor, make sure that the springs lands correctly on the perch.

also make sure when the top-hats come down on the springs, that the springs enter the groove or the landing on the top-hats correctly. if the spring is tilted to the side when the car comes down on it, it may not seat properly causing it to bind and causing your problem.

start there and see if it helps any. hope this helps

they're ksports the spring is already under load when you lift the car up. I was thinking it could be the rack or what not but i'll get under there tonight.

oh I see, your post started with 'I slapped these spring in last night' so i assumed they were springs... then your probly right, i would check the rack first.
