Sorry for not posting directly in the thread about this; I've been in touch with everyone on the list individually and personally within the past week or so, and will update each of you right now as per our respective discussions in our emails and PMs.
Presure, thanks for the PM, for some reason I'm not getting emails for the threads (even though I'm subscribed to receive updates) but I am getting email notifications for PMs. -M -------------------- |

I got my tracking number and expected delivery to me is March 30th. I will email everyone their tracking numbers as soon as they are shipped; I don't see any reason why they won't be out to you guys any later than the 1st.

Fogs are H3 bulbs IIRC - yes, I can get them for you, no problem. One week turnaround if supplier doesn't have them in stock.

You know I'm not sure about that but my best guess would be yes, they're H3 for both. No, HIDs don't come in red, sorry. Anyway I think they're hard to find because that is so TOTALLY illegal to have red fogs.
If you're really determined to have red fog lights, maybe you could get those colored sleeve thingies that they sell at like Autozone, and put them over your fog bulbs? They're made to go over bulbs, although I'm not sure if it would work since they're made for regular filament bulbs and not halogens. Oh hey - I know, you can get red colored acetate/film and put it on the inside of your lense to make red. You may need a couple of sheets though so it doesn't result in pink light. Edit: It looks like I may have found some on line - IDK if they're actual HID kits in red or what they are, but I just contacted my supplier to see what the deal is. I should have an answer for you soon. This post has been edited by GriffGirl: Apr 22, 2009 - 12:03 PM -------------------- |

Yes I've seen the drift Viper, the red looks really hot. Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to help you with achieving that look other than to just give you ideas; I can't get anything in red. I'll keep looking out for something though. Otherwise you might consider that stained glass paint stuff that Krylon makes. They make it in red and for seven bucks, is worth experimenting with

red tint + 5k-6k range hid's should do the trick of color & functionality
if you just want red... for aesthetics only, i would suggest an array of led's - wont light anything up on the road to any functional degree... but will look badass side note: dont have a paypal anymore - anyway can get a kit shipped to stevenson so i can pickup w/cash? (i should prolly call him) if so, would like bulb: 9006 color: 6k -------------------- you know why they put sheep at the edge of a cliff.... that way they push back!
(2:27:32 AM) edit: please f*cking work, f*ck, sh*t, piss (2:28:08 AM) edit: that did the trick |

witch ones are the brightest....the 12000k?.........and the dont have to be hooked up in the hi-beams lamp?
edit;...ok well i read a little more it seems the lower the k the brighter the light but the less color hue ull get.........now for my next question.......is it possible to have two diff sets one for lows and ones for high........im thinking 4300k for highs, and either 8000k or 12000k for lows for the flashy city drive.....would that work fo a combo?
