ooooohhhh... silver bezel rings around the gauges. I like.

Good luck with that splitter. I have no idea what would work best with that. Is there any way you could bend the splitter in before you put it on the car so that when its on it sits flush? Kinda like heating it up and remolding it? it'd probably mess up the paint on it though which would be no good.

SPlitter is on and good. Instead of starting at the front, I started at the back to give the tape time to adhere. Seemed to work great this time.

Splitter was not good. I didn't want to go this route but couldn't find another way:

Splitter is NOW good. biggrin.gif

Photo shoot is being uploaded. She's done for the most part. Just some minor tweaks here and there to do but that gives me something to look forward to.

How hard is it to use rivets?

I want to do the entire body kit with rivets and then cover them up with the paint job biggrin.gif

No you don't. Think about how hard that would be to take apart should the need arise, like more bodywork, accident, ect.

But, for the original question, rivets are VERY easy to use. I used a 1/8" rivet for this application, so it's simply a matter of drilling a 1/8 hole where you want it, and STRAIGHT through where you want it, then you insert the rivet into the gun, insert into the hole, pull trigger a couple of times till it "pops", and you're set.

I ran into a technical snag: Had to re-upload my ENTIRE website, so it's still loading. Soon as that's done, I'll post my favorites from today's shoot. Gotta get some friends together for some rolling shots and to find a better location than my driveway. but.....I got some cool ones today thanks to a large ladder.

Couple of better pics of the DCW gauge cluster cover. VERY similar to Dustin's but ever so slightly different.

All the pics from today can be seen at the following link: http://s72.photobucket.com/albums/i177/Fas...-%20May%202009/

Not at all. I'll be flattered actually.

Zaino, FTW. That's three coats in the following order: Z2 w/ZFX, Z5, and Z2.

I am openly giving permission for anyone to photoshop these images. I'm curious to see what people would do to the color balances or anything. I was playing with it earlier on a couple but left them untouched (save for the border) to start with.
