so my 94 celi had a tan interior and i just didnt like the whole black and tan look so i wanted to go all black. i joined this forum because no on around here really has a celica like mine there all 7th gen. so i keep finding parts that i needed and still need more.... but i found the black carpet and did this all in an afternoon....

the old nasty carpet... kindasad.gif


took the seats out....


my small speakers.... smile.gif


bare metal....



and the new carpet....


after puting it in the car...





and i must say that im very HAPPY biggrin.gif with how it turned out. still need a few parts so ill be posting soon when i get more $$$ of corse...lol

hmmm only a hour? that sounds pretty easy than. I have lots of rips in my carpet from the previous owner. So I was hoping to do this one day, thanks!

Actually the back seats don't even need to be removed just pop the front of the bottom cushion up.
D-man and I swapped carpets in about 30-45mins. But I've been doing this longer than most.
Good job man - makes a hell of a lot of difference doesn't it?

It does look alot better. But I just ripped mine out and its going to be a few days before I put in re-dyed carpet. I was wondering if anyone can state how to road noise is without the carpet before I drive tomorrow (just trying to get a heads up). As I am also looking in to doing some sound deadening....maybe.

but its a lot better than a gsr integra where even the dash and panels are also tan.

GSR tegs have black on black interior the GS & LS come with the nasty famous honda brown interior.
