Hi,
After 7A-FE swap to 3-SGTE there are some difficulties with hood. Now there are 3 points where engine touches hood or distance is very minimal. So, there are two solutions: 1. Put GT-4 hood 2. Make custom hood using the one what I have. This should solve 2 problems: 1. Increase distance between engine and hood at certain points 2. Increase engine ventilation. I wonder to go for custom hood and would like to ask you some help. Maybe you have some photos and can post it here with nice 6gc custom hoods? Need some ideas how to make it. do a full custom job by combining different hood for different cars.
a small example was when DG put the subaru scoop on the Gt-4 hood edit: the second pic player posted looks like the rx-7 hood with the gt-4 scoops This post has been edited by Tigawoods: Jun 22, 2009 - 9:16 PM -------------------- 1995 GT::::Diffusing the Situation エキサイティングカーレーシングチーム! march 2010 COTM : 6GC feature 2014 : january 2015-2016-2018 COTM |

The following link is a cracking example, which in my opinion looks quite stock...you just follow the lines of the bracing underneath the top skin bonnet/hood:
I bought myself a second hand bonnet from Ebay to see if I can do it. http://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...p;#entry6289726 |

It is surprisingly easy...just make sure you take your time when you make your cuts. Rather than rely on just sticking the mesh, try to use the metal clips as well as backup!
