Hi, I didnt really know were to post this. Theres a rattle in my St that i think is A/C related. Its the worst when I idle but when were moving it only raddles when the a/c is on. Now i dont know if there will be a change between the Gt and St setups. A/C is somthing i really know nothing about and i figure this is the place to ask before i go ripping the dash off!
Thanks,
Tim

Mine does the same thing, I wouldn't really worry about it. I think it's normal.

My suggestion: Turn up the music.

Ok, so lets try to get some clarification. When you say the car rattles at idle, do you mean your getting excessive vibrations at idle, or do you hear a rattling sound (that may or may not be accompanied by vibrations). And when your A/C is on, your getting this "rattling" while driving. Your problem could be a number of things, but you need to be more specific, as it makes it easier to tell whats up.
As far as vibrations in regards to the A/C. I get some vibrations at idle when the A/C is on. I think this is normal, mine differs from time to time. One day it vibrates so little you just notice it, then other days the whole car feels like its shaking. But whenever im driving and the A/C is on, I dont get anything (other than the obvious power loss).

I mean that i hear the rattling, and what sounds like the same thing as you, the noise does rattle faster if i rev but only for a second and then it goes away.
