Can we possibly get it bumped up to more than 20kb. I finally created a nice little sig, but even at setting "0" in photoshop (worst rendering) I can't get it below 22kb, and it looks HORRIBLE. 100kb would be more than adequate to allow a decent looking sig pic without compromising space.

Ping and I are having the same problem. If not perhaps you can offer it to contributing members like you do the additional pictures?

I've actually notice some people have larger signatures then everybody else and larger than the max size, why is that?

there was a little while when the sig limiter didnt work.

i cant get every single one that slipped thru, i am only one person.

i've never had a problem getting a sig under 20k, just have to save it the right way.

if you notice an oversized sig, please let one of the mods know.

Good call on the "save for web" thing. Sig is updated and working without looking like arse.

yeah i'm glad they limit it... cuz it REALLY slows down a site when you have huge sigs plus those moving ones... plus it makes the pages a lot longer when you have to scroll past everyone's sig..

My questioning was on file size, not image size. The 400x125 is a good size for a sig pic. The 20kb really limits it though. Even 50kb would be a marked improvement without compromising load times too bad.

There are other people running the site contrary to popular belief.

coomer is the only one who can make those kinds of changes, just FYI.
