yellow/green... first thing that comes to my mind is coolant.

Doesn't Toyota use Pentosin G12 50/50 with Distilled water for coolant? As in, Toyota coolant is red/pink?

What does this stuff smell like? Just throwing it out there, maybe your slinging liquidy grease....Other than that, the only thing that could leak thats near the trans (closest) is either your coolant reservoir, or your water outlet.

what does it taste like? lol wierd i know, but anyone who has been under a car when there is a coolant leak knows its kinda sweet...
just throwing that out there, and yes i know its toxic, so dont injest it! lol -------------------- The question is not how far. The question is, do you possess the constitution, the depth of faith, to go as far as is needed? |

LOL, you are pretty crazy to taste things that leak out of the car, Coolant is super toxic man, don't do that!
Smell is enough! I smell all fluids to see what it is, and if that does not help me, i take a bit of each fluid that it might be, drip it on the ground next to it and compare. -------------------- ◊◊◊ My F/S Thread! ◊◊◊

There was so much JDM trapped inside that box that they couldn't contain it, so they had to put a JDM hole in the box to let the JDM out. i dont think a taste test will kill you, youd have to injest quite a bit. I dont recomend it either. Maybe you cam wash it down with some hydraulic fluid too. J/k dont do that either, youll never leave the bathroom

J/k dont do that either, youll never leave the bathroom For us, anyhow. If you have a pet (dog, cat, etc), I believe a teaspoon of ethylene glycol (anti-freeze) is enough to kill them in a painful manner. The worst part is that it's incredibly sweet smelling, so dogs and cats alike will sniff it out and actively seek and ingest it. Moral of the story, keep your pets away from a garage or anywhere there might happen to be coolant. -------------------- ~Moving on to a 2002 Corolla S~ R.I.P Tom Celica - 1994-2010 |

That is true. And people do that to their neighbors pets too. But really getting off track here. Did the O/P ever find out what the fluid at least smelled like...or was for that matter.
