wow that first bend is REALLY bad. I wasn't gonna say anything cause he says he just got thru re-routing his piping but damn... mk7celica - I do a lot of flow path design at work [I'm an engineer] and that bend is really killing the flow characteristics of your system. Looks really nice tho and it's got to be staying cooler than the traditional setup like I have - so I see what you were going for. It would be much better to clock the turbo if you are trying to get lower intake temps - At least that way you improve flow and cooling. Win-win. 4Age 20v please excuse the dirty ass battery... Wow clean. i like. whats it like torque wise compared to stock motor, obviously over a few thousand rpm it will **** all over it, but what about down low? Mine as of today, new Crane coil, few things relocated, getting better. -------------------- ST205 Group A Rallye GT-Four, #61 of 77............600hp GT3582r

been doing a bit of sanding & polishing lately, came out much better compared with before's.
possible plan is to take the intake plenum off (from the TB just past the quad butterflys) tape off the area which sticks out (got the engine sticker going there again, I missed it ) and paint it a nice silver, which will hopefully make it look real tidy. ^ What was your reasoning for going to a FMIC? Sexy engine bay though. Post more pics of the Faff! Better cooling than the charge cooler setup (less heat soak too), and lighter so less weight up front. Couple of pics posted recently on the post a pic of your gen 6 thread -------------------- |
