swaping a 97 5sfe gt hatch with a GEN 4 caldina 3sgte... got the engine and the computer is smashed badly! beyond fixing and ecu was clipped off mad.gif... still cant beat the price i got the 3s for so cnt really complain tho.... n.e how, found new comp and ecu in NZ my question is will an auto tranny computer work with this swap or will i need a manual tranny computer?.... same with the ecu or does it not even matter... just wanna make sure b4 i order being that ima just throw my 5sfe manual tranny up 2 it and dont wanna order a aouto tranny computer and have major problems later on and ofcourse it being because of the computer and ecu...

plz help!...all help is greatly appreciated!!! smile.gif biggrin.gif

Got your PM. The auto ECU works fine, you don't even need to do any mods to it. It runs *slightly* differently and has a marginally lower redline, that's about it.

What are they charging you for the ECU? I can usually get them for around $400 US, and I can get you a manual ECU probably.
