The above pics just showing what this project is for, thats not the exact product. Will use the stock headlight glasses to do a Mould and produce with Machinery. The lenses material would pretty much like the plastic of the tail lights. Crystal clear plastic. Gonna be 2 colors to choose from: Crystal Clear or Light Smoked The cost would be usd$100 for all 4 with packing, but shipping would be on top depending on different countries, but since the weight is nothing, so the shipping gonna be cheap. You might query about why I suddenly have lots of project to launch. Since I just found another 6GC enthusiast who is willing to support me some funds for my projects. However, your support is also required!!! Just Put your name down if you want those, I would make it happen!! This post has been edited by 95-Abel: Oct 7, 2009 - 11:00 PM |

By the way, how hard is this to install? I've never taken off only the lenses. PS: I'm really loving that clear black gas lid. Kudos bud, and keep up the amazing work. I'm sure we ALL appreciate the support. -------------------- |

By the way, how hard is this to install? I've never taken off only the lenses. Pretty sure the glue under the lenses has to be heated in order to separate the lens from the housing (I think most do it by boiling water) and then the clear lens has to be reapplied with more glue. -------------------- '97 ST \ Eibach \ KYB \ Kenwood \ Alpine \ Cusco \ OEM+ [sold 10/18]

Eh, I don't mind my headlights to that extent . I'll leave them as is. Thanks though Vincent. This post has been edited by CastrolCelica: Nov 12, 2009 - 7:58 PM -------------------- |

Easiest was would be a steam oven 5 Minutes at about 120°C. Then it is like tearing of a chewing gum of your headlamps
VInce give us an update about this. (I think he is not watching this topic) -------------------- |

I am watching... but seems the supplier for the clear/smoked gas lid not gonna cater for us this time.
Need 4 mould instead... it s gonna be... $ + $ + $ + $.... I am sourcing some Acrylic company instead... working on it... need more patience this time... -------------------- |
