At least your spending it all on fun stuff and not repair costs. When it rains, it pours. Over the last 2 weeks, I have spent:

$227- CV joint/axle work
$349- master and slave cylinder and rear brakes (parts and labor)
$187- O2 sensor and Celica Hyper Rev (okay that last one doesn't count)

I got no money left to get fun stuff like SSIII risers smile.gif

Not repair costs? I would call my radiator and axle bills "not expected" lol.

Castrol, that's really not bad to have your dream car!

96stgreendemon, you know you're gonna love it when all those boxes start showing up with your new parts! It's worth it. Nothing feels quite as good as knowing you've got new stuff.

should have them painted and hopefully installed wednesday
primer is done, and i kinda like the look

think flat black would look good with my teal car?

Did you get one? I have a '95 hood I could give you for free. You'd do me a favor by taking it out of my garage haha. Seriously, lemme know. No dents, no rust.

Of course it would.

Of course it would.

Ok joke over, actually I prefer painted. The black risers always look unfinished to me, but that's just my opinion. Get a body shop to match your paint color. Shouldn't be too hard wink.gif. Also, if you want the hood, just come up and pick it up. I'd bring it down to the meet, but.. well.. obviously, it won't fit in my car haha.

I wouldn't leave them primer'd, but I would hit them with satin/flat black paint. Worth a try.

Definitely throw some flat black paint on them. The primer isn't bad, but it scratches off pretty easy. The flat black is like $4 from AutoZone. You can get away with it for a while until you get the funds to have them professionally painted or have a bunch of other parts that need paint.
