i know this has been asked before but i really want some white gauges for my car. i really like THESE cus they have the stock look to them but i am not a fan of the bluish/green glow. anyone no of somewhere i can get a white face similar to those but instead and will just illuminate from the bulbs behind. or if someone has one, custom or not, i may be interested as well.

hmm, that wont work. do any of you with reverse gauges know if you can remove the backing of the gauges, if they glow that means the front has to somewhat transparent. any way you can just modify it?

You could be one of the first, that I know of, to try it.

I remember seeing some gauges on my buddy's 5th gen from speedhut.com. They were good looking and were almost stock replicas.

I actually bought the Lockwoods the other day... When i get them, ill take some pics while installing. I thought they were the best looking gauges besides OEM for the Celi. They look really clean.

Got my gauges installed. They were a pain and my tach is off by about 400-500 rpm. Anybody have a rpm vs. mph for a 7AFE? Past that, everything works great. My speedo is right on.

With the Lockwood gauges, you are REQUIRED to pull the needles off of your cluster. I did it with a plastic pry tool or my fingers. When people say they just "pop" off, they arent joking. Youll feel like youre going to break them, then they go flying... I marked all of my original spots with a pencil. It helped on all but the tach. (It was off?) You are also required to replace the pins that hold the tach and speedo needle because they are a replacement for your OEM faces, NOT overlays.

Here are the pics:

looks good. are there any other colors available other than red. i was actually hoping the white would show at night(like a see through kinda white) but wut you got is pretty sick too. also, as a suggestion get some matrix led's. i got them on my car and it gives a very even coloration and its really bright.

Im going to throw some white LEDs in there when i get a spare second. Right now ive got some other things im looking into, like a CC from pitfirefighter.
I was kind of surprised at how unevenly they lit up, though? Considering the stock ones are just about perfect, these have uneven lighting and the speedo doesnt quite light as well as the tach does. (Maybe its because of the refraction of light from the white color vs the black and grey on the OEM ones? There was some grading on the back of the OEM faces. I assume it was to regulate the light.) During the day they are primo, though. They look awesome.
Lockwood does offer multiple colors. Heres a link:

Looks good zonz, but I don't like the "Lockwood" logo on it.

I got my kit from Cruizin' Central Autralia on ebay. I know teh indicator is in km/h but I also know that they can customize their kits (with flames for example or Toyota logo and so on), maybe they could add or replace teh km/h - mp/h scale.

Intalled:

Sorry I don't have any better pics or night time pics but I kept all the original bulbs so it's the Toyota greenish lights in night time.
