 5SFE Bare Block Weight, trying to help another member out |

I am trying to help a fellow 6gcer out who needs a block but I don’t have a way to weigh the block.
Does anyone know home much the bare block weights? Does the dip stick tube come out? (it would make it easier to ship if it does) I have searched on the weight and did not find any information on here or the web. Sorry if it is on here and I missed it. its heavy, i dont know the specific weight but im going to guess its a little over 100lbs. yes the dipstick tube comes out, its just pressed in

i would prob say around 75 lbs. yes like said above the dipstick tube comes out. i have the block stripped and sitting at my dads shop and i could weigh it for you but it would be a few days before i can get out there.

yea, its definetly ~75-100lbs, empty.

i can tell you this, a fully assembled 2ZZ shortblock weighs less than a stripped 5S or 3S block.
