honestly, just do some GT4 spoiler blocks and JDM tails if your only looking to spend a little...seperates you from all of the average 6gc's people rarely see anyways. Up here in Washington at least, not many celi's with the GT4 body so it turns a lot of heads.

This (JDM): http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=72719

vs. These (Your stock): http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=72763

Also, his corners are amber whereas stock JDMs (mine at least) are clear with amber inside.

Build the car the way YOU want it. If you do what you want, it will stick out. Trust me. I have a Honda Civic for a daily driver...ok, so its built and turbo'd but its still my daily. SOO many people look at it, and on the outside its STOCK!!! aside from Mugen lip and CF hood. Make your car fit YOU, and people will notice it.

or paint it snot green.

hmm don't go for cheap! save up and do some worth while mods... gt4 bmper and hood set up is like a $1000... paint is easily around $1000 too...! lowering looks good and so do the jdm tails. in the end you will be happier id you think about your mods and put time and money into your car.

Those look familiar... cwm13.gif laugh.gif

Seriously, JDM tails are a beautiful thing. I think the USDM taillights look like something straight out of the 80's. The JDM tails bring the car into this decade. But in my opinion, the best thing you can do to make your car stand out is just to drive it. People will take notice.

I look for cheap things allll the time lol.
I would say gt-4 raisers as others have said for cheap.
I dont know how "rice" you feel comfortable with. But I have painted alot! of things on and in my car. Personally i did it to stick out, look at my profile.
The inside can be painted easily (removed easy) and painted with a couple $3 spray cans (should clear coat, I didnt but I dont treat my celi like a truck) And best of all like everyone else said you can paint it whatever color you want!
Engine enamel is a big hit with the ST not sure if its harder on GT's motor? But again take a look at my pics.
DECALS, of things you like! PEOPLE WILL LOOK.
I have quite a few, front and back (big) $35, side kinetik and magnaflow (came when I bought something), and just put on my newest on the fender. Its big but i got it free when I had to get my highoutput alt fixed. Its a mechman alternators one. Dont just buy random decals like some do. Get things that represent you!
My car is getting "flashier" by the day now, but I have gotten a steady amount of more attention to my car as I have modded.
Just today I did something for free ►►LINK TO THREAD (HOW-TO)◄◄

▼▼▼More expensive mods (but I did and I am only 18 and full time college student)▼▼▼

Its really not that much money for a bodykit too btw. I got an Invader kit for $600 shipped to my door. And if you can do the work yourself (you can I have NO bodywork experience and got everything on with the help of people on 6gc). And an Invader gets you ALOT of attention!!!!! trust me you will stick out then. There are 3 local celi's and they stare as I go by lol

And a system, Mine is a little excessive, but any system will make you stick out and people will be wondering who is coming lol.

^Not to knock on mgnt232, but if you don't think the invader kit is a good look for you, there are plenty of lips, "flashy" side skirts and nice rear bumpers that either add to your stock bumpers or come as a one piece unit. Most are fairly cheap, but not necessarily easy to put on. Usually, more expensive = better fit.

Define your version of standing out?

You wanna stand out from the rest of us here or stand out from people that live near you?

Nice drop. Nice non blingy wheels that fit well. Nicely detailed. Lipkit/ extensions. Few emblems as possible. Jdm tails.

Look at other cars and in magazines and if you say whoa that is a nce car... Try to mimic its style. My example is that I really would like a black Audi a4 or a6 or clean jettas/ golfs . Pick up import tuner and check out some of their features.

Coming in 2010

Little things like these are pretty cheap.

custom door sills

clear corners and turn signals

JDM tails and roof spoiler

pretty cheap mods except for the tails.

other than that if you wanna stand out, don't get the vader body kit. If you do get a kit, do something different. I prefer lip kits.

and best way to stand out from the rest is just to have a nice clean car. easy as that. Trust me, if you detail your car right, it BLINGS all on it's own.

Set it on fire.

But if you're not up to doing that, small mods are always good.
