I bought fog lights and a control switch from him about feb 21, well i received the control switch but never got the fog lights. Weeks later he tells me that he sent them to the wrong person. Now its almost 2 months later, he says they lost them and i asked for my 90 dollars back, and once again he disappeared his phone is "turned off" so if you know him tell him he needs to send me that money back asap or figure out whats going on because this is pathetic. he lives in holiday, florida.

...Holiday, FL? Isn't that where our old friend and scamster James lived (forgot his screen name, guy that ripped off a bunch of people for cheap bodykits, "his wife" eventually handled his transactions)?

So yeah, you're basically **** out of luck. This guy was already banned, guess he made another screen name...

Wow Zack, you've had the worse luck trying to get these things. I dunno, if it was me shipping it off, I woulda sent it all in one package (just cheaper that way). Sounds like he never had them in the first place. And its been two months? Here is what i had to do (because I had an incident with some struts/springs), contact paypal, file a claim, then swing by IC3 and file a complaint there. That was the route I went and it took a bit but I did get my money back, because the IC3 put everything together and handed it over to the DA over here to handle.
I looked at the guys profile and you are not the only one who has an issue with him, so hopefully you and the other guy get this worked out.

Personally I dont go and tell my life story to sell a part. That shoulda been an indication right there. As far as sending as a gift, I dont kow if you really can fight that...it was after all sent as a gift.

James=projectinprogress=scammer

You shouldn't have sent it as a gift. You really don't have a leg to stand on, because to Paypal it just looks like you sent him money, not an exchange for "goods or services" which you could then argue that you didn't receive.

Hope you learned a valuable lesson. Don't deal with anyone until you do some research. Use caution when buying from new members, or members without positive feedback.

Found him on an EF honda site - having questionable sales over there. He got upset that I had posted the info we have on him, and said that it was his friend that he let use his paypal account (but he apparently hasn't changed the password so his friend can't?). He then told me he was going to email 6GC's admin (hahahahaha) and told me I needed to take down my post. I told him to contact you, Luke.

yeah, got emailed.

this is messy.

Impossible to know whether or not it's true, but as you say, the guy you've been stalking on the honda site says the scammer is using his s/n on here and is going to court over stealing paypal accounts.

in the mean time i have a reply from our Mree1015:

QUOTE

On the Honda site he said that he is getting contacted about a set of foglights that he knows nothing about.

First he says:
QUOTE
thats ****ing funny considering that the guy you are referring to IS NOT in the USAF. i know the guy you are reffereing to and he was banned from this site already. stop trying to makeme look bad because some asshole is scamming you on some other site(FYI, i knowthe guy that scammed you and his name on there 6gc.net is also twolow somehting and ****, hehas like 4 screen names onthere usingothers paypals and such. he even asked to to use mine, and i had to fix the problem. there are a few of us that know him locally and have taken care of the problem......... oh yeah, never let a buddyuse your paypal, they may or may not screw you over. but i know idid, he evengave my real name a bad name(apparently) i had to payback 4-5 different peope fromthat 6gc site

Then says:
QUOTE
FYI , the one thats in theAF is a friend of mine he is not affiliated with celicas just hondas,he even ues all of our screennames as replicas on every site he tried to scam on so back the **** off...... i keep gtting emails about some ****ing fog lights dont even own. and i contacted the DMINAT 6GC.NET to straighten this out. delete that post asshole

So he lied to you Luke. Its not messy - he is just a bad liar.

Edit: The mod on the EF site banned him. Hahahaha

i think you might need to calm down a bit scooby doo!

He would be getting the emails about the foglights, if the scammer is using his paypal account, like he says.

I think you got him banned from the Honda site, you need to be careful making accusations without proof mate....

If he said he knows nothing about the foglights that were sold on 6GC, but then says to you that he sent them to the wrong person, that would be a contradiction in his story.

Jinkies!

noooo.......

This is why it's confusing.

the PM i quoted is from the Mree1015 on HERE, the guy with the FS thread, not the one from the Honda site. He's been emailing me direct, and said the guy on here is a scammer and should be banned wink.gif

But i'm trying to remain objective at this point....

I know you are, and I applaud the impartial approach you are taking on this.

I do not have the patience, nor will I tolerate a theif. If someone was scamming from my paypal account, I would simply change the password. Any rational person would. This guy didn't think that would be a good idea?

And he has still yet to post here to defend himself.

Dude is a scammer.

From what i've heard:

The one on here...... probably.

The one on the Honda site...... possibly not.

i guess i got a little lost at the end. but thats cool i hope hes not saying that im a scammer, and he said that he was waiting on a check to pay me back, but i can remember everything he has told me. first off about someone getting on his paypal account or whatever he told me he works with computers, so thats a definite lie, how could you work on computers and not stop someone from doing that, so yeah. second he did tell me he had a friend but was in the army reserves he sent my fog lights to him instead of sending him the honda lights he ordered. third he said he had extra lights that he could send me fourth has no tracking number for me to look for the lights the one he gave me was a fake it was the tracking number for the money i sent on paypal i think. but yeah i agree honestly i dont want to buy anythign else on here from anyone that just makes me more cautious to buying things now.
