Heyyy. I got new tires mounted and got everything balanced on the new Rotas, and when I was washing the car today and wiring up the fogs, I noticed something...

The front wheel on the driver side sits flush with the fender, and the front wheel on the passenger side is a little "sucked in".

I would say there is about an inch difference.

Any ideas? kindasad.gif

First things first make sure the wheels are the same offset and that they didnt give you a wrong offset one.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall.
Torque is how far you take the wall with you....

It's not the toe or an alignment issue because the whole wheel is sucked in as opposed to just one side of it. I'd say it's a lower control arm or some other suspension component that got knocked silly during lowering spring swappage

It looks like it might be cause of the fender. If you see in the top picture the fender looks to stick out a little from the low beam head light around the top corner. The second picture shows the fender sitting cleaner and tucked better on the passenger side in the same area of the head light. I could be wrong but I just noticed that...heh

STEP 1: Remove baby (or give it a wrench)
STEP 2: Buy a Heating gun
STEP 3: Heat and hold
STEP 4: Repeat.
STEP 5: fill remainder in with bodyfiller/fiberglass (resin&mcep only)
STEP 6: sand/primer/paint
STEP 7: Replace baby (or remove wrench)

Giving baby's wrenches is a good idea no matter what anyone says. it's SOCKETS that you need to look out for. baby's will swallow that 4MM real quick...

Oh and Philips head screwdrivers are not something you want them learning how to use yet..... My daughter is two, and recently removed my license plate... i haven't found it yet either. I have video for any disbelievers.

Well the camber is fine, the tires wear evenly, it's just the look of it.. kindasad.gif

Okay, you have a bent lower control arm? This isn't something you just fix with a spacer.

Uhh.. When they put the car up you can clearly see that it wasn't even from the bottom. Yes, they were replaced, but that isn't the problem.

You want power but have no money. That's a problem.

Cheap. Reliable. Fast. Pick two.
