Hi guys,
I have finally completed my conversion to the GT4 front end and am having my whole car resprayed professionally this week. I do like the colour of my car, but I want something more metallic/pearly which will make the car look newer. But because i'm not painting the engine bay etc, I am looking for a colour which is similar to my current one, so that it doesnt look too bad when you open the doors or the bonnet.

This is my car:

I love the colour of Tangcla's car, look at it here: http://www.6gc.net/photo/member/5114/2

But I PM'd him and he doesn't remember his colour code. If anyone knows how I can get it, that would be great. Or if you have any idea's on a colour which is nice but isnt too far off mine, that would be awesome too.

By the way, that is an old photo of my car. I have a GT4 front bar now and some nice Gold Racing Wheels.

Hi guys,
I have finally completed my conversion to the GT4 hood...

fixed.

Are you going to do something with the gap between the hood and the bumper? I'd be more focused on that than repainting the whole car as of now. Just a suggestion.

Front bar = front bumper?

I figured he was talking about a front strut bar...

Can we get some updated pictures, please?

Tangcla's colour is simply wicked. I'd do that for sure! Love the rims by the way.

I am seriously considering this colour for my car. I know its very different to my colour. But unfortunately I am having trouble getting the colour code for Tangcla's car.

Let me know what you think about this: http://www.carsales.com.au/Tig/UI/PagePopu...p;tabID=1408462

Its called Karma metallic.

You know what. Now that you mention it, I do recall seeing a convertible parked on the street infront of that house a while back. It must be yours hey?
Once my car is painted, we should do a photo together, that would look coo.

That Holden colour isn't ballsy enough for a GT-4 styled Celica IMO. Think you need something with more bite that is deeper and fuller. Like Novichok said, STi blue (Or something like that).

Problem with STi blue and Speedway blue is that they're too bright and will look weird against the dark engine bay. I need to stick to a dark colour. I want something with metallic pearly look, i reckon it makes the car look newer and more classy. I was thinking of the dark grey metallic on the Mazda 3.
