red is more practical and functional, but just for the hell of it, I'd love to your car in chrome though.

A little update. Not much but its getting there.

Another week and hopefully ready for me to put the car back together before the local meet. Then back to the body shop for some custom interior work.

She's a beaut!

Very nice paint job - the red stands out so well and the sheen is fantastic.

i am impressed on how cheap they did that job! it looks great! i would say 2400$ with bodywork, and r&i all components and jamming doors/hatch/engie bay. i would say you made out like a bandit.

we did a vette at my shop( theres a thread in off topic) and 3000$ was too cheap.. i was paid 40hrs, and i spent 100~ hrs to make it look right for personal satisfaction.

anyway, great job.

thanks guys. There are a few imperfections, but I'm not gonna worry about that until after I get the car running again. The driver side fender has minor fish eye's here and there. The body shop promises lifetime warranty on the job they do. I will take it back to them to fix those minor issues I found, which i did point out to them before taking it home. They are great guys and very friendly. They do however take long to complete.

If you're still interested in the "chrome" theme, why not have these grills done?

I used to own a red car with Chrome door guards and tail lights... the red/chrome combo is sick! tongue.gif

I actually asked the body shop to do the grills chrome, but he said he didn't have any in stock. Maybe I'll just spray paint it myself later. Might actually look nice. Well the engine is almost complete. A few more days and it'll be back on the road. Will get some more udpated pics soon.

Chrome would probably look very good, as it would match your JDM projectors (sort of). Sorry, the white grills are honestly not doing it for me, I think that looks terrible...not a good compliment at all to that gorgeous red color.

Did a quick photoshoot after replacing windshield and putting rims back on. Will need to give her a nice detail wash this weekend to get some better pictures.

Awesome car, fantastic wheels. Only the grills don't look right in my opinion in white.

Pics of the rear license bezel? I see CF!
