SoCal Caravan

This is the list of those members interested in the SoCal caravan as of right now. The meet is coming up in less than 2 weeks and I would like to finalize the meeting location for the caravan. If your name is not on the list, and you wish to caravan with us, please add your name and location on to the list. Erynn, I have already talked to you about your situation, but just in case anything changes, I have left you on the list. Same thing with Markie.

Nics, Chaggi and Ekan. I read earlier in the thread that you guys may just choose to caravan with each other to Castaic Lake. If this is the case, let us know.

I already have contact numbers for Marco, Xavier, Thomas, Erynn, and Craig. The rest of the SoCal members will need to PM me with your contact information so that we may contact you in case of emergency. If you have already given your information to CAMAricer, then I will just have him forward it to me.

CAMAricer - You forwarded a contact number to me awhile back, but I do not know who the number belongs to. When you sent it, you mentioned which position the member was on the list, however the order of members on the list has since changed. Could please check back and let me know the member's first name, and 6gc name. Thanks.

I never exchanged numbers with AJ. Andrew (CelicaST_CALI) says that he has tried contacting him via MSN (or Yahoo, one or the other), but he has stopped replying to his messages.

How many spaces do the NorCal members need? I know that the NorCal caravan has dwindled down to only a handful of members haha. We will try to reserve as many spots as possible. What time did you check the Lake out today? I'm thinking that the SoCal caravan may have to leave a bit earlier to ensure that we all get parking next to each other.

I got cones, but that does us little good

I was at the lake around 3pm when the lot was full. But there were plenty of parking lots empty (just out of the way). It would be nice it we can secure Lot #5, because it's in the center of the park (so we will be the center of attention ).

As far as I know, we'll need about 8 spaces (to be safe). I'll figure out the exact count today. As far as the 35th member's name/phone, I believe it was for ScoobyDooCruiser.

Oh and there were alot of people in swimming suits/shorts. The beach area was packed with people. You may or may not want to bring your swimming gear. But I would bring a hat or umbrella/parasol. I'm going to bring a canopy. Although our BBQ site has shade, it won't be enough for everyone. Oh, and bring a blanket to lay on the grass to sit on. I saw lots of people under the shaded areas lying on blankets. This place is definitely a family recreational area with lots of kids running around, teens sneaking off from their groups, and families BBQ-ing in every spot. That being said, I wouldn't bring anything with me that might be left unattended as there will alot of people passing through our area.
