Well I'm thinking about it but not sure what it would be worth... Nothing wrong with the car at all but i've got my good reasons. Anyway:
1999 Celica GT with 3sge BEAMS just swapped in at 120K or so on chassis and approximately 30k on engine. Runs really nice the interior is awesome with the exception of the drivers seat (shown in pics) and well normal dirtyness here and there. I had the car re-painted but it could probably use a nice wax job from sitting around. Has some scratches here and there from being in the shop but nothin major. I'm sure most can get buffed out. I did all the maintenance stuff on the engine before putting it in. I didn't replace the water pump cuz I couldn't find a replacement but the one it had was good. HKS timing belt, spark plugs, oil and coolant of course, forgot to do the thermostat but I have a new one just in case, mmmm I dont remember what else... oh new Godspeed aluminum radiator.... well anyway most of it is in my profile including previous mods and stuff plus here are some pictures.. Just curious as to what it could sell for or what someone would trade for and if it seems like a good deal I'll consider it. I have some issues to work out here in Cali anyway I was kinda thinking about a 240sx or Mr2 something along those lines... I spent probably about $13K total including purchasing the car when it had 88K mi on it and I know I probably wont get anywhere near that but just fyi Oh forgot to mention that the AC seemed to stop working and the battery light is always on. I'll probably get those fixed when I get a chance... This post has been edited by erahman85: Jun 18, 2010 - 7:47 PM |

Just curious, how are you passing emissions? I want to do a swap into mine but there'd be no way to pass with a jdm engine.

GLWS, Your car is really nice. I would post it for sale for around 5-6 maybe even 7 cleaned up. Since your in Cali you should get that pretty easy. Cars out there sell for alot more than they do here.

I'm more curious than inclined to sell but I don't know I guess we'll see where this goes... |

x2 on what bonzai said, would be cool to see how a beams is. i'm contemplating an engine swap when my 7afe dies, and the N/A beams engine seems like it would be the ideal choice for when i decide to use the car in stage rally.

Just curious, how are you passing emissions? I want to do a swap into mine but there'd be no way to pass with a jdm engine. What fans did you use with that radiator? Used the original fans.. The one closest to the headers is actually touching the headers but Toyota made that one out of metal so no melting issues. Shipping the car for the buyer?.... I guess I wouldn't mind granted said buyer pays for shipping. I will really try to get to the 6gc meet but need to get my car registered and I don't know if i have time this week... |
