Just bought these but now im questioning how the car will look with them on. I just wanted to know what you all think about running 18's before I went and invested more into them like spacers, lug nuts, and 2 tires.

I personally roll on 16 and know that putting bigger wheels on your ride requires more power. Even race cars don't roll on too big wheels so, i think that 18'' are a little big but they still look good. If your looking more into looks than performance than, go with those.

thanks for all the input. I put up an ad to trade the rims for either 16's or 17's but if nothing decent comes up in the next few days, then these will be going on to the car.

. Even race cars don't roll on too big wheels No, but rally cars do, Celicas used 18" wheels on tarmac events. If you like 18s then stick em on and enjoy them. I have run 18s for years now without issues and thats on crappy UK roads. The only issues I have with 18s is the price of the tyres, 17s are so mush cheaper which at the end of the day might be the deciding factor. 16s are too small, you`ll end up with side wall roll when pushing hard through corners. Put them on and see how they go...if you like them then keep them, if not try and swap them for some 17s or sell them and buy something different. -------------------- |

I have 18" ADR RS2000 on mine. If you have some ground effects (I have SS-III fronts, GT skirts and Curren rears) 18" don't look to big on Celica so I'd say keep'em.

Yeah the rims going look good on your car. Pretty much just run with 225/40/R18, a good drop, and a nice paint job to match and your set. You've already got a kit on so go for it. BTW, nice to see another local boy on the forums.

After you get the car lowered, they'll look just fine. Even until the car is lowered, they'll get the job done.
