To be SLAMMED you're going to be looking at a full coilover setup, which could be anywhere from $800-1800, or an airbag setup which I'm guessing is even more. Probably rolling your fenders or cutting and doing some sort of fender flare or widebody setup depending on how big of a wheel you want to use.
If you're cheap you might be able to do some of those cheap ebay "coilovers" which are basically springs with an adjustable perch, but you'll blow your struts pretty quickly. Wouldn't worry about ride quality since there really is no slammed car that rides nicely. Or for free you could do the Honda method of slamming and cut your springs. Actually not a bad method for lowering like an inch, but anything more than that and your car will pretty much be undriveable. -------------------- 1999 Celica GT

Appreciate the response. I wanted fully ajustable coilovers anyways, im leaning towards K Sports. I dont want it like on the ground slammed lol i just want it to have stance and have it tuck the tires.

Fully adjustable coilovers will not let you drop your car unless you put smaller wheels on it.
I have a airbag setup that I bought from a member a long time ago and it literally drops cars to the ground. Here is his car. (Forkee) http://memimage.cardomain.com/ride_images/...0138_medium.jpg -------------------- Captain Pessimist

The only reason i was going to K Sports is because i had them on my 240 and i had it dropped 3in all around. i was proboly like 3-6in from the ground if that. I was like almost scraping road reflectors.

lowered my car 4.5 inches with a drop zone set up. ride wasnt as terrible as i thought it would be. Not alot of travel in the struts tho. At first i was rolling around on some 14's and it was almost too low for me (grinding pulling into the driveway and unable to a normal jack). Then put some 17's under it and the tires became tucked.

Lowered 2.0 in front, 1.5 in back. Though, I did recently bring it up a half inch in the front being I got tired of scrapping.. Alot of you guys hate on them, but have never used them...they are fine for a DD. Stop hating. |

Ebay coilover sleeves(not real coilovers), coilover sleeves are made for show cars because all there suposed to do is lower a car not lower it then DD on them |

Well, hey...they work. Maybe there is more to them then originally thought by many. I let you know when mine fail and my car drags on the ground going 70 cause I didn't listen. I guess the sleeves that cost bout 400+ or so are just for show to? Even though I've seen those used for more then just a DD...but nah, they for show cars...oh and one more of these.. I actually bought some of those $400 sleeves and when i got them i wasnt impressed so i sold them on here for half what i paid. Im honestly justt looking for a good coilover system. Ive heard KSports blow fairly easy. Megans are suppose to be awesome for our cars, so is Tein. I havnt heard much from otheres like BC and such. Ive been looking around for the past few months reading reviews.

in order of quality / performance it goes as follows
Teins are great but they won't offer you that dragged on the floor look. out of the regular options I would say BC is your best bet, they are built better than Megans and Ksport, eventhough rumor is that they are all biuld in the same plant, BC has a lot better reviews among real racers and street tuners, for extensive reviews on them go to some Australian sites where I guess they have the most popularity. also Ksport makes a bolt on bag system, please read the pros and cons of air bag suspension before getting into one, but that's also an option. I have my Teins set to " standard " settitngs ( they way they ship them from factory ) and I honestly don't need to lower my car anymoro, just love it the way it sits right now. -------------------- |

I dont want to slam it really, im just looking for stance and flush fit. Plus im about to order front splat rear splats and trd replica sideskirts. When those come in next will be coilovers which i still cant decide on. Im more or less looking to lower it 2-3in maybe 3.5 at the most.
