Yeah, it would look alot better with some clear lenses! The OEM type just break it up to much.....I cant remember who, but someone here used to make clear lenses....All in all, the lows with this, projector and clear would look great!

yeah i asked around and the members who used to make the clear lenses stopped making them....
i think they should go back to business and start making them again...cuz i know i would buy a bundle of them and sale them along with my package deals...lol THESE ARE MY NEXT PROJECTS..: *have 4 low-beams* **buying some clear front turn signals and customize them to have about 15-30 LED's in them** ***Lowbeams with projectors and LED strip*** This post has been edited by 350niZmo: Sep 18, 2010 - 7:59 PM -------------------- ***Z-TOON Dezignz***

oh damn. yea that would get in the way. why not go an easier route like buying some yellow transparent vinyl and cutting it to size of hi-beam and sticking it to it? its alot easier and you dnt have to remove bumper for that one.

As in running all 4 lights with low beam bulbs, or replacing the highs with lows? |

im thinking as running all of them as low and high beams...basically installing a bi-xenon kit for my lows and highs....
so what im looking for is to have 4 running lights and 4 high beams...lol kinda stupid but i wanna try it -------------------- ***Z-TOON Dezignz***

True.. but the highs aren't a flat surface, I'll get folds in the vinyl -------------------- taking too long to mod since '09

not really.... if you take your time and use a heat gun or hair dryer it will NOT fold...cuz thats how i did mine...i got the exact measurements of my highs and then placed the vinyl over them and with a heat gun....or small torch (you can find these at any walmart store) and heat to vinyl so it takes shape of hi-beam. after a few seconds peel the vinyl from white pad the apply on hi-beam and slowly spread with a squeegee or credit card...lol then you should be good to go...

i would love the 4 headlights with projectors with bi-xenon...only option i would suggest is to make the high beam switch (if you turn on) work with initiating the turn on of the bi-xenon to switch to hig beam on all 4 headights if high beam turns off...all 4 headlight go back to low beam. of course it would require an adapter with male and female caps along with wires extended to make install clean and an EASY WAY to revert back to oem if i want oem lights backon the celi SIMPLY by disonnecting the adapter/wires off the oem light plugs of the head lights low and highs...

Roy;
My name is Jeremy - welcome to the Forums! I've also created a custom set of headlights, (WITH the clear lenses)... they're a work in progress as is everything else with my car. LOL. I'm wondering if you have any DAYTIME pics of where you mounted the LED strip in the HIGH beams? The reflections are very decieving... Here are mine; the car is completely dissasembled now so I won't have pics of them working for awhile but you can see I put in a LED HALO around the projector Here's how they looked when I got them, but the houseing was falling apart and the projectors were loose inside the headlight, so I re-worked everything from scratch and then sealed them up good. I'm looking forward to seeing your final product. Aaaand I might be going a different route with my high beams... so they might be up for sale soon if I make up my mind. -------------------- |
