the bearings are different, the ST185 uses the same bearing on both places ( same part number ) the ST205 has 2 different part numbers for the 2 bearings, ( shaft uses 2 bearing each bearing has a unique part number )

these are the part numbers for the ST205 bearings

37230 BEARING ASSY, CENTER SUPPORT, NO.1
37230-20150 ST205 (02/1994 - 09/1994) 1 $235.84
37230-20200 ST205 (10/1994 - 07/1999) 1 $193.62

37230J BEARING ASSY, CENTER SUPPORT, NO.2
37230-20160 ST205 (02/1994 - 09/1994) 1 $193.55
37230-20210 ST205 (10/1994 - 07/1999) 1 $193.62

I tried a cross reference and they are not used on any other toyota.

if the bearing is all you need, I'd advise you to take them off, and find your local Kaman industries store

they can get you a replacement for that bearing, but they'd need to see it to get the bearing number.

it'll be a lot cheaper than buying a whole new shaft that may need new bearings anyways.

You want power but have no money. That's a problem.

Cheap. Reliable. Fast. Pick two.
