I have got one of my lenses on craigslist right now to try and get this going. Money is tight so it may take a little longer than I had hoped, but I will get it going and keep everyone posted. -------------------- |

I am still trying to sel lmy lens for funding. I am really up in the air for the trd engraving, I am honestly not sure how I am going to be able to do it.
I drew another version with some tabs on the D to be cut completly through. I am not crazy about how it looks, but I could have the whole thing waterjetted and it would get rid of the painting of the letters. Here is what it would look like, not blue but alluminum in color. I am finding other potential problems structually with the R and D area it is extremely thin
in a couple spots, I really am hesitant to try waterjetting the whole thing. I did it on the wrc version but the shape of the C in realtionship to the R allowed it to be cut through without strength issues. I made a few calls and it looks like I can probably rent a machine for a day to cut it. Once they are watterjetted, I will get some info on who wants what. I am probably going to do a hellica if there is some demand. I will draw it up and post a sample of what that would look like. -------------------- JDM guy made me do it.

I'd buy a hellica one as long as it works with the carbon fiber gt4 hood

It doesn't really look right the horns make it not fit so well. I could work on adjusting the slots to better accomodate it, but this is
what it looks like so far. I also thought about just the regular emblem. Edit: I know nothing about a CF hood. It fits between the hood and cowl cover if it is an oem cowl cover it should fit fine. I always use the felt washers between the hood and this piece as to not scatch the hood paint. I have never had an issue, but the clear on a cf may be easier to scratch. the logo no horns This post has been edited by 97lestyousay: Nov 8, 2010 - 7:03 PM -------------------- JDM guy made me do it.

This is one that is cut through, the other version is on page one. If I make any WRC they will be like the one on page one,
I will have them all waterjetted the same, and they will just be blank until I engrave them. -------------------- JDM guy made me do it.

I'd be willing to prepay (immediately) if funding is a problem for you to get these started right now...I'm sure plenty of other people on here may be as well

If something doesn't happen with my lens in the next couple weeks, I may have to do this.
I honestly don't want to accept any money until they are ready to ship. It is going to take a week or 2 for the water jetting another week for the engraving and prep the about another 1 to 2 weeks for anodizing. I realize everyone is in a hurry but, prepaying is going to be a last resort. This post has been edited by 97lestyousay: Nov 17, 2010 - 3:53 PM -------------------- JDM guy made me do it.

Still trying to get the money together to get this going. I have sold mine to the OP so it is going to happen pretty soon,
since I no longer have one for my own car. As soon as I get going I will start a FS thread and start getting info for what people want. -------------------- JDM guy made me do it.
