you can actually buy a rebuild kit straight from a toyota dealer

and may I ask where in MA are you located?
Cause I have 3 engines right now haha
They are all still in the Celica's but 2 are coming out soon

Well I haven't rebuilt any of them them lol but a rebuild kit will probably cost around $300 to $400.
All the engines I have are still sitting in the engine bay haha

One is my DD with about 217k on it and it's an auto.
The blue one is the victim for my manual swap, which will be happening in the spring.
The silver one was my parts car to fix up my car after I got into an accident before the summer. When I do the manual swap, the motor from this car is going to be swapped into my DD because it only has 126k on it.

plan on spending ~500 just for all the seals and gaskets..then whatever other parts you need (IE water pump, oil pump, ect)

Well once I do all my swapping and stuff, I'd be more than happy to sell you one of my engines.
It won't be until the early spring, but you could easily rebuild it before the summer comes!

the engine rebuild gasket kit is about 250 bucks. comes with every gasket. you will spend about another 300 in new bearings, main and rods, water pump, belts, and piston rings. i have done this on both the 5S and the 7A. i have a really good thread with over 100 pictures on the 7A build. follow that. the 5S is very close.
