...told my room mate about how last week I got 467 miles to a single tank of gas. I still heart my Celica - although that may be subject to change tonight when I drive 150 miles through a snow storm over a mountain pass. Hmmmm.... snow tires+chains FTW (hopefully)

You got 467 miles to a tank?
I barely get 375...

at 300 miles it looks like i am gonna run out of gas most i have clocked is 318 on a full tank but i drive it hard as a delivery person 22 to 24 mpg delivering pizza is still pretty good

I get around 380 per tank. so about the same as you. but you have to remember he has a st not a gt.

In other news. TODAY I BID ON A GT-4 FRONT BUMPER biggrin.gif and I WILL get it if for sure if the seller says that i can pay a week after the auction ends. (i would be able to raise my max bid by over $250)

EDIT: I just got the go ahead from the seller, and I will be allowed to pay a week after the auction ends!! biggrin.gif looks like i am getting a GT-4 Front bumper cover!

a few days ago, we had a blizzard here and it snowed a lot. while everyone were driving like snails in traffic, i noticed an ambulance approaching with its sirens on and was clearing most of the traffic away.. it was heading to where i was going so i pulled to the side and followed it while maintaining a safe distance. i got to where i was going 5-10 mins faster than usual thanks to the ambulance. along the way, we both drove through a bend in the road where it was unexpectedly icy and we both did a 45 degree angle drift through it. well it wasn't a drift for me though (fwd) just that the rear tires lost traction and the car fishtailed, but it lasted for a good 5 secs and it was epic.

also today i got a carwash and changed my oil to royal purple.. pretty sure my doors are going to be frozen shut in the morning and i'll be climbing in through the rear hatch again..

So I came back home and my best friend gave me a present. He has a MKII MR2 and he bought a header for it, but no exhaust or Y-downpipe.... so he gave me his header, insisting that it's cheaper if he buys the exhaust as a whole. So now I have a 7A header awaiting install and an MR2 5S header just sitting there....
