I hit 143,000 miles and got an oil change. Patiently saving and planning the rebuild for the 5S.

Forgot the previous owner had a 2 year warranty on battery and I took it in to exchange for new one. Celica started like a champ!

Started organizing my vehicle log; a few hours and 4 pages later I have most of her history from purchase until today completely logged. Now if only I could find those texts with the dates I hit 121 and 132,000 miles I'd be closed to done.

My neighbor installed 6K HIDs in his CTS today it took him like 5 hours because he had to take his bumper off to get to his headlights. Brutal long time for a mod when it's only 38 degrees outside and overcast. -------------------- Has no more Celicas

today i went to visit huntington beach, venice beach, and downtown L.A.
i find it amusing how the subies/supras/evos drive up next to me with a puzzled look after seeing my badgeless car and manitoba license plate . if i had more time i'd drive up state to visit san francisco, and seattle but it looks like i'll have to start heading back jan 1. also today the clutch pedal started to stick but only happens occasionally. i'm guessing a simple master cylinder rebuild won't fix it since i just rebuilt it last winter... might have to replace/rebuild the slave too This post has been edited by azian_advanced: Dec 31, 2010 - 12:42 AM -------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |

I ordered a kit from SI Motorsports (local import shop ) They have a lifetime warranty guaranteed for 5000 hours minimum. They were $350. I dont trust chinese made kits, friend had the DDM kit and it caught his engine bay on fire from the ballast busting and melting wires.
ANd out of curiosity why does it matter what i installed them on... This post has been edited by JuMPiiN: Dec 31, 2010 - 11:07 AM |
