today i replaced the right front abs sensor and cleared the codes on the abs computer... so far so good just have to test it out now. i also installed a new wheel liner since the old one was all torn up. the only thing i need to do now is somehow get rid of the e-brake light. it stays on constantly but goes brighter when i pull the e-brake lever. i've never figured out what the cause of it is...

Here's a thread to post whatever you've done to your car today, big or small, there's always something to do, but not always big enough for it's own thread smile.gif

Should be a good history of the work everyone does on their pride and joy smile.gif

I changed the oil in my rear diff and polished my car smile.gif

Just switched to Mobil 1 5W-30W synthetic oil and got some NGK platinum Spark plugs.

Excessive acceleration is a common ticket around here.

Well..not today, but yesterday. Recovering took longer then estimated.

Changed the clutch out, as I could barely drive the vehicle anymore. Was quite the learning experiance...learned why my clutch went, and how to bleed the system. Not to mention how to lower the engine to remove the transmission. Which is quite the task, took us 12 hours to complete it. Neither one has done FWD clutch before, but we figured it out. FYI, back mount is a PITA!!!!!!! Also broke the radiator while lowering the engine, it was old anyway. Forgot to remove the top hose, and ripped the piece off.

Having to relearn how to drive my car, being I was so used to the bad clutch, now its just bites like it has a purpose.

Found some interesting things from the previous workers. 2 stripped standard bolts, 1 in the trans, and 1 on the starter. Also the fellow I paid to weld up and install my downpipe, did not attach the gasket or tighten the works down enough. Blew the gasket to pieces. So shes is a little loud at the moment. Like an angry lawn mower.

I seriouslly do not know how guys do this everyday...I'm sore as hell. I now understand why 800 is a standard price around here for a clutch job.

I fought a ticket like that here in NJ

I was pulling away from the toll booth, and got pulled over, and issued a ticket, went to court and asked the judge to explain exactly what I did to deserve such fine, to what he asked the cop to explain it.

Cop said I accelerated too fast.

my argument was that I didn't go over the speed limit and I had EZ pass lanes next to me merging on the same lane so I needed to come up to highway speeds promptly to avoid getting hit by a driver using EZ. plus I asked what's the " legal acceleration rate " to which there is not define number, is all left to the cop's discretion, so the judge told me to consider this a warning, and let me go, I did have to pay court fees.
