Doesn't this usually mean that a valve adjustment is needed? Because I got my valves adjusted not more than 12k miles ago... is it already time again?

Injectors, I'm willing to bet.

As in, 7A fuel injectors are noisy.

Who did the adjustment for you ?? It could also be a sticky lifter from sludge build up, but if the ticking is that bad take the valve cover off and recheck the clearance.

Lol Kyle. Mine's not that bad that I hear it in the cabin. I popped my hood while the motor was running and heard it.

7a has REALLY noisy injectors, sounds like a rapid and sharp clicking noise. valve tap is deeper more "mechanical" sounding.

exhaust leak? That'll make a ticking sound.

Timing/accessory belt loose? That'll make a ticking sound

Idling. It's probably the injectors, or a sticky lifter someone had said earlier.

No, the exhaust is fine. The timing belt was replaced less than 2k miles ago and the other belts should be fine as well, it hasn't even been 12k for those.
