So about 3 months ago my car was finally finished being painted after a much hated waiting period of indecisiveness and searching for booths to paint in. So here's my car after being painted (Note I haven't put the spoiler or side skirts on)

So this Sunday I got into a car accident, totally my fault (Although I blame a Cop... I'll explain). So I was on my way home from grabbing food when a motorcycle cop starred me down from the opposite lane and busted a sick U-Turn to pull up behind me. I had pulled up to a left hand turn lane when I kept starring at the cop in my rear view mirror when I happened to notice the light turn green, so not thinking I took the turn when a guy in a old Toyota pick up hit me....again my fault . well to had insult to injury the other driver didn't have a drivers license...in fact all he had was an ID from Mexico and the Insurance he gave me was canceled since September of last year.... so naturally the cop took his car away and gave me all his info and let me go.... so now I feel like I ruined his life along with my car

on the good side nothing mechanical was damaged so the car runs fine but still its hideous damage.... but my quarter panel is totally shot to S*&t and im contemplating if it's even worth fixing my Celica...

That sucks... right after getting painted too. The timing couldn't be any worse. Is there any frame damage? I'd say it's worth fixing.

if you have insurance, dont worry about the cops. the only thing i worry are the tints on my cars. they'll mark certain cars to go after.

yeah thats true I remember with my old CRX it had pitch black tints and a fart can and I'd get pulled over for the stupidest things, I guess its just a fear carried over from when I owned that car, but i'm always insured just wish I had opted for that uninsured motorist coverage now.....

Ok so if I decide to repair the car just by looking at the damage does it look possible to repair the quarter panel or would the only way to fix it be to replace the quarter panel?
