I don't think your car will run the same again... :S I hate the dealerships (aka stealer-ships)... I hope they know what they're doing. I can't see them getting a lot of ST205 engines in there... unless there's been a surplus of MR2's in the Hat lately... -------------------- |

Parkcity Toyota has been doing all my mainentance on both of my gtfours. Timing belts arent by any means difficult just because its a 3sgte. Ive had the same technician do all of my work as well since he himself owns an MR2 and now also a ST205.

I will drive my car to work and love every second of being behind the wheel of my 6gc.
Yesterday, more importantly, marked my 2nd year of ownership - March 24th, 2009 I picked up my 3L2 from a little lot in Virginia and it's been love ever since. Also, broke 145,000 miles. -------------------- Has no more Celicas

Just out of curiosity, can you get me the part numbers for everything they used for the timing belt change? -------------------- 1996 Toyota Celica Project Mean Green

Today was a celica appreciation day. I first drove 50 miles home, gased up, 486/15.2=31.9mpg..Not bad for a mix of mostly city and some highway driving ..Then parked, went in the store, came out and just kinda stood lookin at my car, it looks really good in the rain when I cant see the imperfections, then drove home "spiritedly" in the rain.(And in 20 minutes ill be doing the 50 mile drive back to school,in my car with 297k on it )

Today I painted my Euro splitters. I'm sad I had to spray them outside. It was either spray them outside and possibly get debris on them, or spray them inside and possible die. I can't wait to redo them in my garage when I go home in the summer.

Parkcity Toyota actually fixed the problem and didn`t charge me an extra penny which was amazing of them.
$600 spent on maintenance and sell it the next day..I'm smart. Haha. Yes a WRX is now in my sights if I can ever find a decent one for sale. -------------------- current project: looking :(

Today I did a bunch of crap.
Took out the starter, took it to test at autozone, PASSED. Took the alternator out a couple days ago to test it and it also PASSED. Next, I figure the battery might be sh*t so I took that in and....BINGO! Got a new battery. Haven't hooked it up yet because I was working on installing my short shifter. It was a bitch because I kept dropping things here and there but after two hours, got it done. I'll be brining it in tomorrow to get a quote on paint. Finally! -------------------- |
