Changed her oil and cleaned the dash, seats, and steering wheel. Decided to take her to a shop to have my bottom O2 sensor replaced this week.
Also, ordered OEM door clips to replace my old ones. -------------------- Has no more Celicas

Yesterday car died on the side of the road with a full tank of fuel, damn it. towed it home and found no spark.
Today I bought a new coil and removed the distributor, to find I need a new condenser as well, so im about to ride the good old DRZ400 down to the parts shop to get one and put my girl back together. I REALLY hope I dont need a new igniter $$$$ |

****warning: do not try this at home, or any where else for that matter***
I'm in school in AR, about 45 minutes north of little rock... for those of you who watched the weather, you may have seen we got our ass handed to us by tornadoes tonight........ and with that being said..... today i.............. decided to test the theory that a celica can out run a tornado (well, more like several of them)... conclusion--- a celica CAN, in fact, out run a tornado, but it is not advised that this be attempted this may -by far- be one of the dumbest unintentional things i have ever done. story time? why sure why not... I was in little rock grabbing dinner with a friend from over on celicatech who happens to be a pilot. he was in town, so i headed down to hang for a bit before the storms hit... figured i'd get outta there and head back north to the school before they were near... planning fail on my part, they moved in faster than i really thought they would, or we lost track of time, i'm not really sure which one it was.... so i ended up just ahead/to the east of some epic storms of doom when i left....... at several points in the drive back the radio screamed "theres a confirmed tornado/funnel cloud/strong rotation/whatever in (insert town) getting ready to cross (insert highway)... well conveniently i was in all of those places on all of those highways when the reports came through.... yay me so i decided rather than pull of to the side of the road (like a normal, sane person) where a ditch does not quite exist and wait out the tornado.... i was gonna floor it (since i was ever so slightly ahead..) and attempt to get away from he storm of doom.... which i did successfully.... until i got back to the school and a tornado (which i had managed to avoid until this point) came within a very small margin miles from hitting us, but ended up going just south of us... thankfully eventful night? very much... was dinner worth it? damn straight.... will i ever attempt to out run another tornado? not a chance -------------------- 94 ST--- Project Fury |

Bought some Lenso rims off someone on Craiglist. They have a bit of curbage, but hey the tires are brand new so I pretty much just bought new tires. and it is better than running Steelies, which I'll keep for winter. but What I can't figure out whattype of Lenso rim they are, I'ver searched for the past three days and can't find them, I'm thinking they are discontinued. I'm Just trying to find a spare haha. I'll post picture up later today after I get some lugnuts.
Also plan on buying some other parts today as I got 900 extra...I don't want to spend it but I may just do it.....at least 300 of it. |

Painted the stock GT wheels flat black along with the trunk lid. Put some sick TRD decals on the front fenders. Now...To niteshades the tails or leave them stock, I don't know. The front marker lights are tinted. |

Changed the fuel filter....stupid previous owner must have never changed it as it was seized on top of the the flare nut. So I had to cut the line then get a steel braided fuel line from the cut to the new filter, which is located in the old spot. Hopefully it doesn't leak, so far so good.
Bought a short shifter, 5th gen mirrors, and various other things. Painted center console, just need to wet sand then clear it. Also got the wheels fitted from earlier this week as well as a new radio. Going to junk yard tomorrow to find a taurus coin/drink holder. |
