I ordered wires and the distributor cap for a 5sfe and when I received them I had 5 wires included. Though there's only 4 wholes on the cap and there are also only 4 wires used on the car actually. Is there a use to the 5th cable?

i think you got wires that are also compatible for 1st gen 5sfe (90-93 celica) since they have an extra wire going to the ignition coil which our cars don't have.

Hmmm that could explain it all. Well, I guess it means I have a spare wire (if it ever is the same as another one)
Thanks.
