so today after work i went out to cut and mod the bumper and slap it on. i also plugged out the factory boost controller and put on an aftermarket controller, this solved my problem with the "cut" couple pics i caught over the past few days, im going to take more b4 work tomorrow night got to give the car a good drive tonight and get a feel for whats to come lol car drives soo smoooootthhh and it just sucks you back into your seat it your seat and holds you, so sick still a few things i gotta pick away at here and there, but now i can at least drive my car to work FINALLY! lol lookin great bro! i gotta get a refill for the argon, and a new blade for the saw to complete your intake. ill hit you up later this week. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)

alright so i finally had time to update my thread lol i went ghost for a little bit, been to busy driving my car.. and workin fml
so the car runs greattttt i fckin love boost, end of story. i just love how the car drives and pulls soo smooth and the BOV sounds meann lol turns lots of heads i love how the car drives just like the 5s around town with everday driving but then comes alive with just a little bit of throttle with out even getting on it, very nice how ever i did have an issue.. i was being stupid with my car when i thought my clutch let go or my axel may have snapped or popped out so i got the car towed to a garage that just did a tranny seal on the same axel so i was hopin maybe somehow it popped out, im not sure, he checked the axels and said no they r fine your clutch let go. so i got the car towed back to my house until i had the time and money to get a new clutch and swap her in. almost a week went by until i actually got to look at the car, Dustin and Stef happened to be down and gave me a hand with it and we figured out the axel came out so we tried to pop it back in and it just wouldnt go. we tried and tried but it would never snap, then we just took the axel and out and this is what we found.. you can see the splinds all fanned over snapped the end of the axel shaft right off what realy pissed me off was the fact that the guy said my axels are fine... does that look fine? we could pull the axel away from the tranny with our hands lol idk how he didnt notice it wanting to pull out. made a call to Mike and picked up the spare tranny he had and did the tranny swap and put a new axel in and now it drives great. but i wont be doing that again lol. im in the search for heavy duty axels for the s54 and a e153 tranny, see what i find first, more likely the tranny bc i cant find axels. quick pics of the car This post has been edited by Ted95: Aug 31, 2011 - 10:38 PM -------------------- st205 powered ss3 coupe

Just fyi, cam. I didn't forget to, or not install the oring on the bov. If I had, it would have rattled and not held its position.
It must have come out when the cclip popped out. -------------------- Former Team 5SFTE pro member ;)

It must have come out when the cclip popped out. ya it probably did fall out, gettin that clip in was a pain that night lol. i could spin the bov before, even before the bov popped off, i put an o-ring in and it doesnt move at all. its no big deal to me as long as it works like it has. Just read through your whole topic mate and i have to say im inspired! Im currently collecting the parts to do a FWD 3sgte swap over here in Ireland and ive been getting a bit disheartened lately being let down on parts and an engine deal fell through but seeing the work you put in has revived my want to get this underway!
Car is looking great and the engine just sits so pretty tucked in the bay there |
