I will buy one and can pick up from Culp, but only if they are at his place by the September 25th. I'm moving from the EC and will drive right by his place/could stop to get it.

Do you have a rough idea of when they will be stateside?

Updates:

I need to correct the total no. of plates for you guys, only 25 piece in this batch
The under Panel is oversize to ship via normal postal service, so either freight cargo or courier.
I try to quote from Fedex, the pack to Culp's door steps is usd$2k+
I am sure we couldn' accept that cost.

I would stick on a Air freight forwarder I previous quote, the cost is around $800-1k, but only ship to JFK, so Culp have to help us to pick up from there.

I would try to control the shipping cost at usd$30 per piece/set from HKG to JFK
The excess amount for the shipping I would take care and sort out with Culp.

~Under Panel+Brackets Cost$170
~Shipping from HKG to NJ, East Coast $30
~Only for STATES or anywhere near member, as all would send to EC
~If you guys would pick up from Culp, please remark, "NO Cartoon Box" then help to save more on shipping
~Get your PAYPAL ready, only 25piece in stock

There are some europe member, from Canada or some other countries, pls help to amend the list.

Guys, its time to collect payment~
Don't drag on the domestic shipping from EC to your door steps, I am sure Culp would source the most cost effectiveness way to ship it to you.

  • Pls kindly PAYPAL me USD$200 to vincent_doggy@hotmail.com
  • Please help to choose “PERSONAL”, then “GIFT”, it will help to avoid some Paypal fees
  • Please kindly remark your screen name,
  • what exactly you ordered
  • Pls tell me you need the cartoon box or not
  • On 1st come 1st serve basis, as I said it might be one time only! Grab it b4 those are gone

for shipping, I've been looking around, and because of the size of this, greyhound is a good option, once package properly, it will have a nice trip, is the most cost effective option.

so for now, I'm planning on shipping these via

1- greyhound
2- UPS

is the buyer's option which service they would like, and of course, each person would pay the appropriate fees.

also if 2 members are getting panels and live near by, shipping can be combine and split the shipping cost among them, again, just trying to make this as affordable as possible. if any of you have any other ideas that can help us save on shipping, let's hear them.

sadly I can't give you that info until I have the panels with me, weight, exact dimensions and such are needed, and I totally forgot about you guys lol, I will try whatever option is cheaper to accomodate hawaii and such, maybe USPS priority, but sometimes cost can be quite similar to UPS so will see.

Guys, here's the most updates~
There's only 29 pieces for sell, I would left 9 pieces for my buddies in Hong Kong and Taiwan~
The most Panels I could ship to East Coast, NJ is only 20 pieces~
I am pretty sure the price for the Panels for next batch(if really have next batch) would raise.
The estimate ship out time would be around 15-Sep onwards.

As I said, 1st come 1st serve~
The earliest I saw your fund in my Paypal account, who have it~
I think its fair enough~

There are only 2 members secure their order so far~

1. spy00005 - pick up from Culp NO BOX - PAID
2. culpable04 - NO BOX - PAID

arrangements for shipment from HK to NY are in place.

I will try to get pictures to show why this is needed on our cars, I had a near miss that made me realize how urgent I need this in my car.

a rock fell off a truck about the size of a softball, and at 60 MPH on the parkway I didn't have much room to avoid going over it, then I heard the BANG ! and pulled over, just to find a hugh dent on my exhaust system.

there is still a 100 dollar damage on my exhaust but a few inches to either side damage would have involve my oil pan or transmission.

Culp:

Here's the dimension of the cartoon box
(L.W.H) 102 cm x 88 cm x 10 cm
The total weight would be around 5-6kg (with 1 panel, 2 brackets and the box)

as soon as I get some estimates I'll post them here for everyone. as said before, I'll look into greyhound as well as UPS and USPS. to give you guys the option, that way you guys can choose what makes more sense timely and financially.

this is all with bloodMoney's Zip code, so use this as reference, I won't be able to do estimates one a one to one basis as of right now, but I will do a worst case like from New Jersey to California and to Canada, so you guys can use as reference. mean while this is that the estimates look like, seems like UPS is our best option.

greyhound
Priority ( next bus out ) U$56.00
Standard ( space available ) 41.00

USPS

Priority US67.00

UPS
UPS Ground US$17.19

EDIT after confirming with UPS, the actual cost is US$37.00 which is not as nice as 17 but is still the cheapest I've been quoted and not bad considering the size of the package.

for those wanting to calculate the cost of shipping yourself from your own locations, I'll be shipping from 10901 as UPS is cheaper if you ship from a commercial location ( my job )
the dimensions are 41 x 33 x 4 inches and for weight I've been using 15.0 lbs.

Same applies to those of you who can have it deliver to your jobs, there is a small discount by UPS if I ship to a commercial location, so those of you who can have this shipped to your jobs, provide that address.

if you find that fedex, DHL or any other reputable shipping company can deliver this package cheaper to you, just let me know and I'll use that particular shipper, everything possible to save everyone a dollar will be made, and I will be collecting actual shipping charges only, not one cent more.
