For sale I have Carbon Fiber Hood and Hatch

Both are in mint condition. Price is $1000 firm for both. I live in the Poughkeepsie, NY area and due to the type of items they are pick up only. **EDIT** price dropped to $700 for both. See my post from 1/25 for further.

EDIT...I PREFER TO SELL BOTH ITEMS TOGETHER AS THEY ARE FROM SAME COMPANY AND WOULD BE EASIER....HOWEVER IF I FIND TO SEPARATE PEOPLE FOR EACH ITEM AT SAME TIME I WILL SELL SEPARATELY

I edited the post.......these are both custom and were bought in group buys right on this site so if you have seen these on anyones car in this forum then chances are they got them from the same place and can vouch for their quality and rarity...I believe only 10-12 hatches were custom made world wide and maybe 30 hoods.......

This is a c-one style hood made to fit on stock style bumper. It sits flush on a stock one when installed. Unfortunately it will not fit on a gt4 bumper sorry.

Any idea how much less they weigh? I bet they lower the CG of the car significantly, especially the hatch. Maybe get a sheet of Lexan instead of glass. Anyways Im about to go slam me face against a wall repeatedly since I dont have the money for these ATM kindasad.gif

lexan is not legal on the streets and it scratches easily from what I hear. 80% of the weight from the hatchback comes from the glass. If you were to replace the rear hatchback glass with lexan, there would be no point in getting this carbon fiber hatch. I'd suggest you get he 3 point rear strut bar if your going to get a lexan rear hatch window. glass absorbs the rigidity of the chassis

They are significantly lighter than their stock counterparts. However, I doubt they affect the CG of the car considering what % of the weight of the car they represent. And if they do I'm sure it would be minimal.

Is the entire area paintable? Yes but most people don't paint over carbon fiber. And if u mean just the grill of the hood then yes you can paint them as well.

Right now I have potential buyers so if you're interested PM me

Ok so everyone that has PM'd me and said they were interested fails to ever actually come through and I still have both the hood and hatch available. And I will consider these items not sold until someone picks them up. I can no longer go by whoever PM's me first due to past people continually putting off a pick up date and not coming thru. I am dropping the price to $700 for both and will also include carbon fiber wrapped door sills and gas lid. I also have a bunch of random interior parts and even old seats. You can have whatever will fit in your truck when you come pick up the other items. I need to sell these to clear room in my garage. Please DO NOT PM me if you want to tell me you will have the money in August or can drive up next December. If you are seriously interest to purchase and can PICK UP in a timely manner then please PM me.

Just to clarify some things that I have had confusion about. These are pick up only due to size and how fragile they are. If they were to break I do not even know if you could find another to replace it with. And by pick up I mean just that, I do not have a truck or capability to drive and meet you anywhere unfortunately. If i did then I most certainly would.
