Yeah thats the only reason im reluctant i know the advantages and possible power output the 2j is capable of compared to the nissan and yeah hes got the money he builds race cares and owns a repair shop and he said hes had the engine the past 7 months. It was gonna go into his nephews 240 but he totaled it an now its just sitting in his living room lol

Man, 2jzges are a dime a dozen, and are worth close to nothing. There is no reason for him to trade a fully built RB for an unknown condition 2jzge engine that costs less than the pistons in the RB. If he will take the deal in real life then i really suggest you do it, as youll save A LOT of money in the long run. That RB im sure it putting down around 350whp, and a gt4 rear end will not enjoy handling that all by itself, so your gonna need to looking into either getting the rear end gears treated, or just replace them with aftermarket parts.

Yeah he already owes me some money and he did nt spend his own money on the engine so im assuming he just wants somethjng new to play with i guess idk. He's like that thgh. i just thght it was an interesting offer . was leaning toward the 2j but less money is less money an its probly too good an offer to refuse

[quote name='malpaso' post='919646' date='Jun 6, 2011 - 1:18 AM']personaly I like wide body idea... so let's wait for results. Anyway. I'm sure at leat hlaf will say it is good and half it is ugly. Just check already existing + my PERSONAL opinion:
only one for sale as kit - ugly IMO (design of bumper is weird) http://www.redsmodifiedmotors.com/NewStuff.html rest hand made job... great pieces. Mostly from Celica club Thailand. Those people are unbeliveable workes...: this widebody 6g looks sooooo great !! wooow !! excelent work,...... i want more pics from this :-) the rearspoiler looks great, where are making this? i want this for my celica :-) This post has been edited by celicafan80: Nov 12, 2011 - 2:35 PM -------------------- |

What's the point of wide body if you don't have wide enough wheels to fit it? Or at least spacers. And yeah, slammed more would look sick. 2 inches is 50mm.. Thats a ton in terms of fitment. Heck, i had 25mm in the rear and i swiched to 30mm because it didn't quite cut it for me, and i wish i went even a few more mm. Guess i am picky, haha.

Sorry been in and out of the hospital latley to answer the fitment issue again as far as the wideness of the kit we are in the process of doing an engine swap which will involve a rear wheel drive conversion with a much wider wheel base. I wasnt willing to buy rims an spacers because it was an unecasary waste of money. Soo till the swap is started an completed the rims stay like that. Hopfully im out if the hospital long enough to get this done. At this point i t all depends on the whole health situation so ill try to update this soon.
