I don't mind that it sounds like a Subaru. Who cares. I'd rather it sound like a Subaru than a raspy 4 banger... provided that is what it ends up sounding like.

I didn't mean that toyota or subaru are now making turbo versions. I thought it was pretty plain from the article that this is a special purpose turboed frs. But since it came about so quickly, you can assume that it wasn't that hard to modify. -------------------- '99 Celica GT - Sold

Confirmation of 5x100 makes me mad. Sure hope someone figures out a STI hub swap. I don't know if you've read this yet seeing as you posted almost a month ago, but: "Unfortunately, Subaru designed the FR-S with the less popular 5x100mm bolt pattern, instead of the more popular 5x114.3mm bolt pattern. Rather than limit wheel choices to 5x100mm selections, GReddy opted to prototype a hub conversion to open the options to the more popular 5x114.3mm pattern." http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3063 |

from a collector's standpoint. How cool would it be to have number 86 that came out of the factory?
