i assume that you are referring to an E-bay header? one of the many on there.. i don't want to be an ass , but the simplest thing to say is to expect to get what you pay for.. as long as you are ok and understand that.. then the rest is cake.. i got an E-bat header for my 91MR2 (5sfe) for something like $45.. stupid low.. i knew that it would not be the best but for the cost, who cared as long as it "fit"... got it.. the flange was flat (not warped at all) on any of em. the ports lined up, and the holes for the bolt lined up too... great right?!?!?! well had a nasty backfire during an auto-x with it, and the damn O2 bung blew right off!!!.. ****ty SS, and welds.. not a problem, i just welded it back on with ma'MIG (even though it was just regular steel wire) slobbed some additional gasket sealer (the grey stuff that is water clean up when wet, but dries hard as a rock, from advanced exhaust section) on the flange for the bung (in-case my welds warped the flange even a bit) and have not had any more problems with it ever since!!!! i got lucky though.. some of those $45 ones are trash.. got a similar priced one off ebay for my 7a and ALL the holes drilled for the studs on the manifold-to-head flange were off to the right by about 1/2 an inch.. $45 worth of scrap metal.. (but i WILL still use it, one way or another)
good luck -------------------- |

The only problem I had with the Surewin header are the gaskets. The manifold to downpipe gasket didnt quite fit on there. I just used OEM gaskets and have not had a problem since.

As far as i knew surewinproducts had stopped making the header for the 5s-fe. I had contacted them with no response and had been looking on their website for quite some time with no results
