so today i went to a yard and they 95 supra up for auction which i thought about bidding on since the car is a six speed, so my wife popped the hood and asked where the turbos are, i told her there are no turbos on this car, she then replied that with no turbos dont even worry about bidding on the car. she didnt want a supra that wasnt turbo,

Divorce!

I'm just kidding. I would never seriously suggest that. It's too bad you didn't bid on it, the NA's can still be boosted. Out of curiosity, how much did it sell for?

its still up for auction, i could maybe bid 2k or 2.5k usd and win it, know one knows how much someone else bids on it, they just call the person and the end of the auction, which will be on 15 march the last guy to own it burn the clutch out, so it needs to be replaced, the body is straight no dents hardly any scratches at all, when i was told that it had been dropped off cause of the clutch i just laughed, clutch thats it. any how i could bid on it and get it but im hoping to leave in 6 months.

it was a six speed na supra, i only paid 250usd for my 94 celica there is only a small number of people here who wants these cars my car was for sale for a month before i bought it, no one really wants them because its right hand drive and no one really knows how to work on them and the germans are expenses, for parts and labor,

Yes and I picked up my mk3 supra for $150, lets not start this. Let me get this straight. Someone bought a 6 speed transmission(A $5,000 transmission), then gutted the interior to install the 6 speed tunnel, also spent $1,000 on a drive shaft and dif, but left the 200hp NA engine in. Not to mention if the car is in an auction the previous owner obviously had some financial issues. It wasnt a 6 speed. You can pick up a gte engine for around 2grand these days...Yea... it was a 6 speed NA..\

PS: Who the hell cant work on a toyota, and how the hell are "the germans" related to this?

the car was imported from japan by a soldier who got stationed in germany after he left japan, so the car is in germany that is how the germans got involved, second the clutch went out on the car, the soldier left germany to go back to the states where he could not take the car, because parts are expensive and most soldiers over here are not mechanically inclined, most shops will charge an arm and a leg to work on a j spec car. its easier to junk a car for 50 bucks than it is to sell a car, in order to sell a car it has to pass inspection before you can sell it, that means the guy who owned it would have to replace the clutch and get the car inspected in order for him to sell it. the length of time that it would have taken him to order the clutch and wait for it to come in then pay a mechanic to replace it would have taking to long. i went through all the gears 1 - 6 and reverse, it is a six speed, and there are no turbos under the hood, it was labeled as a 2jzge,

So the car is not in the States?

That's how it's an NA 6 speed. It was the SX-R, I believe.

I'd put a bid on it anyway. A Supra won't disappoint you.

So I'm guessing you dont actually live in north carolina? Because you wife "popped the hood"?

Didn't think of it to be a RHD jdm in north Carolina, but go figure the car is in Germany. Lol regardless your going to pay at least 3 grand to get the car over here, not to mention having to swap in a USDM engine to make it DOT compliant. So youll spend about 15 grand when everything is said and done to have a rhd NA supra. But again if your in Germany it changes everything.

God you're rude.

That's a pretty sick car to come by. It's too bad you're leaving in 6 months though, otherwise I'd say go for it.

it was not a 6 speed if there were no turbos on it. Period.

UNLESS....the transmission, drive shaft, rear end, clutch, and slave system were changed over. Plus it might have been a TT because the turbos are covered by piping and heat shields. how about posting a pic of the engine bay and ill tell you for sure.
