Just replaced my sunroof motor so may have something to do with that. But as i drove to work this afternoon I noticed that my door ajar light was on. Got to work and shut the doors and the hatch, but its still on. Any suggestions? Maybe the one of the sensors has gone bad?

have you tried checking the door jam switch?the spring broke to mine so when the door is open the light for an open door won't show.try pushing the door jam switch see if the light goes on and off.look like this

I did try pushing both door jamb and the hatch's switches but none of them turned the ajar light off. Looks like I'm heading down to O'Reilly tomorrow.

Well, bought a new door jamb switch and tried it on both doors and the plug for hatch switch, nothing. Door ajar light is still on on the dash, possibly a fuse problem or multiple switches out at once? Does any part of the sunroof affect the door ajar light?

The common point between the door switch and sunroof is rb1 and jb1. Have you tried to just disconnect the awitches? Ive replaced my sunroof motor and another one on akirad1's celi, never had an issue. But if your gunna t/s start by removing power to switch, still have an issue start at common point.

sounds to me like you have a ground problem in one of the switches telling the cluster that the door is always open check to see that when you replaced the sunroof motor you didn't pinch any of the wires or anything of that sort. i'm stumped on this one though that is the only thing i can think of.

Problem solved! Turns out the driver side door switch was bad, didn't notice it was the problem until after i realized that i had also blown the dome fuse during the sunroof motor install. Somehow i managed to put a screw through a wire, a possibly related problem that I'm having is that the switch for the sunroof that says "up" on it doesnt do anything when pressed in either direction.

Thanks for all the help so far!
