Hey guys. This is the beginning of my project. Took a couple of hours to rebuild and paint the front brakes. Got new rotors and pads and flushed out brake fluid.
Jackey, the helper dog. Piston fitting. After, the black really brings out the wheels and brakes. Before i painted the inside of the guards. This post has been edited by MiSillyCar: Apr 22, 2012 - 3:12 AM |

new light bulbs. the blue tint ones will give a whiter glow rather than the yellow'ish glow you have now. (check in the interior/exterior lighting sticky threads for size bulbs etc)
ps I'm in HB aswell -------------------- |

My car has the Tein lowering springs on it. Came with the car when I bought it. Would like to upgrade to coil overs though one of these days. I want to say you can get a set of Tein springs for under $200 off of eBay.

u should just get an ss3 or gt4, its always good to start with the better base
the cost of ur car + the cost of ss3 motor = cost of ss3 then ur still lacking ss3 brakes, ss3 suspension, ss3 lsd, ss3 gauges, ss3 seats, ss3 steering wheel, furthermore... i know that the gt4 has a sports abs system with more g sensors, ss3 may also have it too(???)... -------------------- Mike W

Yeah, i dont want the GT4, as im planning on getting the BEAMS.. and the SS3. well they are awesome cars, but i would rather do a car up.. its more fun and i like to know what i have done to my car, and since i have had mine for so long without any probelms, i really dont see the point in buying a new car.. My one will cost a bit in the end but its all part of it. There is no point people having a project car when they arent willing to put money into it.. And its all good experience doing stuff for your self just in case you have problems in the future and need to fix it, if you get what i mean.

Do you have wiring figured out and know what to do there? It's cake
Read richee3's progress thread. Make sure you get one with the ecu and fuse box. Get the right clutch... Drive it -------------------- |
